Jewelry Trends for Summer!

As we all know, accessories have been around forever: bracelets, rings, necklaces, so forth. For a period of time, accessories were minimal. An outfit consisted of earrings, a necklace, and a simple bracelet. They were made to enhance the look, but ultimately they weren't meant to take away from the outfit. However, as time and fashion trends have evolved, accessories have become the essential piece of anyone's look. By combining a casual look with numerous amounts of accessories, you can make your casual look fashion couture (just don't take it overboard--and you know what I mean by that!), here are some example as to how you can style your look with the help of accessories! Let the tips begin..

Silver, Golds, & Blacks

Accessories with these color schemes are great for a night out, or possibly, a date (uh, fierce) because of the elegance behind the mixture of color. These accessories aren't necessarily full of color, but they mesh well with anything. Whether a black dress with hot red heels or a simple white tank top and black skinny jeans. You work your look, but remember--less clothes, more accessories!
Splash of Colors

This is a perfect epitome of using the right amount of jewelry, and still making your outfit look great. Using vibrant, vivid colors work best with any colored top! The more the merrier, but don't make it look crazy (yeeks). Also, style your accessories not by color, but by shade..it'll look best that way. For example, don't go with just black bracelets--try and use black with hot pink, lime green, and neon blue. That would look cute and chic.

 Flower Accessories

A lot of flowered accessories are being used as bold fashion statements. Not only do you see them on the cute girl who still attends high school, but now it's becoming a big 'must' within business women and 20 year olds. Accessories like these give more to the eye and bring your personality out. They make statements as to who you are as a person, because essentially, flowers are lively and mellow--so it shows you being a lively and happy person.

Maybe wearing a flowered necklace will let a guy know that your not hard to come up to, and maybe then, he'll loose the nerves and come say hi! Eh, what a dream that would be! Oh, and also, flowered accessories are not childish if used right. I mean look at all the cute accessories, and imagine how great they can look on an everyday look.

  NOTHING, BUT BOLD!

As I said, the use of excessive accessories is becoming a new trend. More and more people are doing it, and more and more people are noticing that accessories make an outfit look great. May I add, chic? However, sometimes excessive amounts of accessories can be a little too much for some people--that is why picking the right accessories is important. Ultimately we want our outfit to make a bold statement, so choosing eccentric, colorful accessories can do just that. Look at Beyonce, she styled an eccentric colored necklace and earrings, both with a very unusual pattern, with her outfit. Her look now looks chic and high fashion, while also making one take a second look (what we all want, right?).  So if excessive jewelry is too much for you, then be wise and think BOLD :)
